The Vice President for Finance and Administration is the chief financial officer of the college and oversees financial and business operations of the College, including financial planning, budget development and control, investments, procurement, physical plant administration, new construction, risk management, real estate management, and various service operations such as the Vassar College Store.

Reporting to the vice president are the director of budget and enterprise services, the controller, the executive director of facilities and operations, and the director of procurement and auxiliary services.
